Ingredients

1 stick of butter

2 cups of water

2 tablespoons of salt

1 tablespoon of garlic powder

1 tablespoon of ground dried thyme

1 tablespoon of ground dried basil

1 tablespoon of ground dried oregano

1 tablespoon of onion powder

1 tablespoon of smoked paprika

1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

2 bay leaves

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, then add the water and stir until well combined.
  2. Add the salt, garlic powder, thyme, basil, oregano, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and bay leaves.
  3. Stir until all the ingredients are fully incorporated.
  4. Cook for 15 minutes.
  5. Once the marinade has cooled slightly, use a meat injector to inject the marinade directly into the meat, ensuring that it is evenly distributed throughout.

Notes

If you can’t find ground herbs, add an additional 1/2 tablespoon of dried herbs and grind them in a mortar and pestle or spice grinder.
