Ingredients

4 lbs of chicken

Jerk Chicken Marinade:

1 medium onion

1 bunch green onions

3 habaneros

2 inches of fresh ginger

6 cloves garlic

½ cup brown sugar

½ cup soy sauce

½ cup oil

¼ cup white vinegar

¼ cup lime juice

1 ½ tbs salt

3 tbs dried thyme

3 tbs allspice

Instructions

1. Prepare Marinade: In a blender, combine 1 medium onion, 1 bunch green onions, 3 habaneros, 2 inches fresh ginger, 6 cloves garlic, ½ cup brown sugar, ½ cup soy sauce, ½ cup oil, ¼ cup white vinegar, ¼ cup lime juice, 1 ½ tbsp salt, 3 tbsp dried thyme, and 3 tbsp allspice. Blend until smooth.

2. Marinate Chicken: Place 4 lbs of chicken wings in a large bowl or dish. Pour the blended marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

3. Air Fry: Preheat air fryer to 380°F. Place marinated wings in the basket without overcrowding. Cook for approximately 15 minutes, or until the wings are crispy and have reached an internal temperature of at least 165°F. Be sure to clean the air fryer basket between batches because the marinade contains sugar and it’ll caramelize!

4. Serve: Once cooked, let the wings rest for a few minutes, then serve and enjoy.
